The XVI DBMC is taking its form through the organization. So far, seven keynote speeches have been invited from the most prestigious researchers in the relevant fields. The XVI DBMC sponsors include RILEM, CIB and ACI. Due to the disturbance of COVID pandemic, the organizing committee decides to extend the abstract submission deadline to January 31, 2023.

The COVID situation and the relevant control policy are changing rapidly in Beijing and China. We are swiftly transferring from the previous "dynamic zero" policy to the more tolerant and flexible one. Now there is no restriction on infected individual except that he/she is recommended to reduce the social exposure during the infection. The quarantine and the virus check are exempted from January 8, 2023 for the international passengers entering China. We believe that, in several months, the international travelling will restore its normal level.
