For the accepted abstracts, the authors are now in the phase of preparing their full-length papers. Here is a small friendly tip for the full-length paper preparation. Please do use the full -paper templates, which can be found on the website under the menu “Author Guidelines” for both MS Word and Latex versions. As stated clearly in the templates, the authors are required to prepare a 2-page extended abstract besides the full-length paper. These 2-page extended abstracts will be edited into an Extract Book for the use of delegates during the conference, and the complete version of proceedings will be prepared and indexed by Scopus, available possibly later. Please do not forget the 2-page extended abstract in full-paper submission.
Another issue relevant to the full-paper submission is the multiple submission: some authors submit more than one abstracts, which is appreciated and welcome by XVI DBMC. However, the processing of full-length papers generates costs for the final proceedings. So, the registration fee on the website covers, by default, one full paper edited into the conference proceedings. If you have more than one full paper accepted, you can either choose to register different authors for different papers, or you can register yourself for all the papers. For the latter case, extra processing fee will be required, fixed at 100 euros for international authors and 1000 Yuan (RMB) for domestic authors for each extra full paper. If you plan to make early-bird registration without the final acceptance of full-length paper(s) yet, the secretary will contact you for this issue later.
Have a good work in preparing full-length papers!
